Cherry Bomb Pink Tufted Rug

Room aesthetic: Kawaii, Maximalist

A pink tufted rug with a big cartoon face on it: red eyes, a yellow mouth, thick black outlines, and a wavy round edge. It is the thing people notice first when they walk in, which is usually the point.

Why You'll Love It

• It covers the boring part. Dorm carpet and rental laminate are grey and sad. This is the fastest way to stop looking at them.
• Start small. The 23.6 in version fits between a bed and a wall. Go up to 39.4 in if you want it under a chair instead.
• Four colors to steal. Pink, red, yellow, and black are already in the rug, so a lamp or a poster in any of them ties the room together for free.
• The face reads from the door. Heavy black outlines mean it still looks like a face from across the room, not a pink blob.
• Wavy edge, no straight lines. Every other thing in your room is a rectangle. This one is not.
